Project Linus 2021

At Pine Grove we are grateful for our Quilting group “Sew Much Love’s”. Fifteen quilts have been made and donated to “Project Linus”. Project Linus provides many types of blankets (quilts, comforters, fleece, crocheted or knitted blankets) to seriously ill and traumatized children, ages 0-18.

The quilters meet on Tuesdays each week for a day of quilting from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm in the fellowship hall and make time for devotion, discussions and prayer.

Some of the other projects they have worked on were for the children that attend the Orlando Children’s Church founded by Pastor Peter O’Driscoll. One of the quilters designed a drawstring Christmas stocking. They made 250 stockings and filled them with small toys, a workbook, pencil and candy.

Another project was Teddy Bears to be used as a comfort for children experiencing difficult changes.
