The Four Biggest Fools in Town

Text: Matt. 5: 20-22I.  

The Atheistic (Silly) Fool!   

A. He does NOT accept the person of God. (Psa. 14:1; Psa. 53:1; Rom. 1:20-22)   

B. The unconverted person can see God in the stars, but he can only know through the Scriptures. (Psa. 19:1-11)

II. The Agnostic (Skeptic) Fool.   

He accepts the Person of God, yet denies the Plan of God. (Psa. 19:7-11; Luke 24:25; II Tim. 3:15-17).

III. The Antagonistic (Sinning) Fool.  (Prov 4:9; Gal. 6:7-8)

A. Sin will take you further than you want to go. (LOT)

B. Sin will keep you longer than you want to stay. (Samson)

C. Sin will cost you more than you want to pay. (David)

IV.  The Anti-God (Unsaved) Fool.  (Luke 12: 20-21)

A. He had mistaken his BANKBOOK for his BIBLE.

B. He had mistaken his BODY for his SOUL.C. He had mistaken TIME for ETERNITY.
